Can anyone who is an expert on Simplex detectors answer this question.If you would take a Simplex detector 2.68 with A 9.5"x 5.5" d.d. coil and attach it up to a 2.78 Simplex detector what would be the results? Would it work at all?

The coil I am speaking of its Not the 11" stock coil, its the (Nel) 9.5"x5.5" d.d. made for the 2.68 simplex .Does anyone known the effects between the 2.68 vs. 2.78 simplex 2?The simplex 2 has its own 9.5"x5.5"d.d. made by Nokta.

I'm not an expert and don't own a Simplex detector but I would presume that all coils made for the Simplex model would be interchangeable regardless of the software version.

Probably not. The sp24 coil will not work on the v2.68, only works on v2.76,2.77 and 2.78. You might shoot a email to Nokta and ask.

Well,the answer is NO.Made a try does not work .
