hello all I'm from Pennsylvania and located in York , Lebanon and Lancaster counties and been detecting on /off for 20 years but got serious into it a few years ago after finding out I'm dying of heart failure and having to give up most of my other hobbies . if anyone in the areas is looking for detecting friends to go out with hit me up ... the solitude is great but it would be nice to have some friends to enjoy the excitement when finding old relics and coins. biggest problem is my days off from work are Tuesday and Wednesdays and work 2nd shift

I've got plenty of public parks all over a 3 county area I usually go to and most were old farm land long before so multitude of stuff can be found

Im really relating bc im quite ill with autoimm disease and long covid but IM stil out there every chance i get ; its my medicine . Im in NYS , half hr from Milford Pa so probably an inconvenient choice for you but Im feelin what you say , just sayin Hi

I drive to NY to dig for crystals a few times a year so I'd have no problem doing it for detecting too.

Im very into ALL geological stuff (rocks , fossils etc ) and also collect arrowheads and similar . I say we should meet and try and plan an outing . How do people stay safe with these situations ? So many crazies out there . Js

If I'm meant to die by the hand of a stranger who's into metal detecting ,rockhounding ,etc.... so be it , but I'm sure my heart failure or the fast motorcycles i'm planning on getting will be responsible for that . I'd have no problem meeting in a public place first I'll buy breakfast or lunch and coffee . we chit chat ,i'll bring some crystals and minerals like a show and tell and gift them to you & you make your determination if I'm really scary or not ....i'm 48 have a 23 yr old daughter and gonna be a pop pop in july to my grandson . I'm into metal detecting not interested in going to jail. I'm the guy who protects total strangers I don't even know without thinking or caring of my own safety . I'd say i could give you references to contact but vanlife and my dumb work schedule kinda keeps me from having friends
