hello all, My name is Paul, I joined this group to check out what detectors members are using. I want to know the pros and con of certain machines. I have been detecting for close to 30 years. Love it and have found some amazing items. I have owned four machines so far. An old Garrett land unit, a fisher 1280 X, A excalibur ll and my latest an equinox 800. I consider myself lucky having such a great hobby that pays out big dividens. I now mainly hunt in saltwater. Hope to get some good info. by joining this gruop. Happy hunting and best of luck. Thanks for joining us!

My main unit is a Garrett Ace 250. I appreciate that, for my style of detecting, it has the necessary features and then some, yet it's easy to operate & to become familiar with.
