Is it just me, or does anyone else dislike having to screw the charging cable in all the time to charge the Nokta Legend?
Has anyone seen a short/compact coupler/adapter that you screw into the charging/data port?
I know it comes with a charging cable but you have to unscrew the protective seal cap on the back of the unit and then screw in the provided charge cable that comes with the unit every time you want to charge it.
I know it's designed the way it is to keep it dry, but I have an idea. I think it would be great, if instead of unscrewing the protective cap and then screwing in the provided power cable to charge it, what if you could screw in a short solid coupler. One end looks just like the provided cable that screws into the unit. The other end could be a usb female port with a cap of some type. A type C female charging port on the coupler would be great if feasibile. This way, if you know your not going to be out in the rain or in wet environments, you could just leave it screwed in the port and when you need to change the legend, pop off the cap on the adapter/coupler and plug in the usb charging cable. If you think it know your going to be in a wet environment, unscrew and remove the couple and put the cap back on.
"Please don't say, just use the provided cable, it's not hard to do", of anything like that.
I know it's there, it's not hard to do, it don't take that long...
I would just like to walk in with my detector, headphons and phone and plug it all in at my charging station.
I know, "It's a first world problem", but isn't that how don't good ideas have been come up with.
I'm also aware the charging cable port is also the data port and we want to keep it clean and dry. Just saying, screw in charging port would be nice.
