A microburst hit the Huntville Airport where the Air Show was going on at about 2PM today. It destroyed several tents where spectators were. A 5 year old boy was killed, and at last count 12 people were injured.

You know, you worry about things like planes falling into the crowds and stuff!! Then out of nowhere, a microburst!!

Nope, you never see it coming.
My sister had one hit her yard a few years age, it took out part of her fence and drove a 2 X 4 right through the side of her RV. Thank God it wasn't worse than that!

I was at the air show yesterday. They expected 100,000 people today, it is surprising more people did not get hurt.
