Here is something to try. It works for me. You will need to be open and free.
Not in a line on your table, I hope....Where do I sprinkle my fairy dust?
Hmmm. Not in a line on your table, I hope....
Nah, that. remote viewing and the spirit world, would probably come in the shape of a mushroom..... I'm old, I wouldn't know, personally.Hmmm.
That's actually a good idea. I'm thinking that would improve my remote viewing skills.
I am open minded about some aspects of dowsing, but “remote viewing“, come on now!My grandfather did it often year ago, and it worked.
Steve
I bet those guys in Vietnam that didn't step on any of those mines that dowsers found believe in it.anecdotal stories are not proof. If these things worked , then why don't any of the proponents ever subject the devices or-their-skill to double-blind scientific studies ? Whenever they've tried, it's always failed. But .... durned those sun-spots after all, eh ?

I don't know. I don't have a answer. I don't even understand a lot of what you typed. Just giving some options . Sometimes i don't find anything with a metal detector, go back out to the same spot and find stuff. Couldn't walk for awhile but kept trying. Couldn't ride a bike for awhile but kept trying . These guys didn't have a whole lot of success, but kept at it.Sure. No doubt anecdotal stories abound. So too do anecdotal stories about psychic readings, miracle pills, lucky charms, etc... abound. Sure.
But when it comes to dowsing, that's all it ever amounts to is : Anecdotal stories. The moment anyone's ever tried to do scientific double blind studies, it never works out better than random eventual chance. And when you point out these failures to the proponents, the pushback is like clockwork :
1) Some outside influence (sun spots, ions in the air, magnets close by, rigged tests, etc..) flawed the test (even though they'd agreed to the parameters before the starting of the tests)
2) They grant that those tests failed, but that ... shucks, it works every other time. And they proceed to tell the stories.
As for water, that is simple : Wherever leaves fall, you WILL find water if you dig. And as for metal, if you wave it around any likely looking ruins, and pull out detector to "pinpoint" (that's the ticket), dig enough holes in likely spots, then sure : You'll eventually (gasp) find metal. Maybe even a goodie.
So if dowsing works, why doesn't it ever pass double-blind rigid protocol testing ? Why is it that all we ever hear is anecdotal testimony ?

Listen up here Bro Han. You live in the USA. So you can believe what you want and express that. What on earth is up with that link ?
Look bro, let's just cut to the chase : If you, or anyone else can use dowsing (to have better than random-eventual chance guessing) then : By all means SHOW THE WORLD ! But alas, no one shows better than using subconscious terrain clues, eventual random chance, etc...
I believe that General in the video isn't lying about what happened . Your allowed to call bull s. on his story. They have been using mine/metal detectors since WW2 to locate land mines, not dowsing rods.
