Getting back into detecting lately and figured I'd stop in! I used to be "Steady" here but couldn't log in so a user name makeover was needed. 
I just bought a house and have been detecting in the yard for the last few days. The place was built in 1951 but there is a long history in the town going back to the late 1600's. Haven't found anything amazing yet but I'm still hoping! So far I've found a bunch of clad and 3 wheats dated 1956, 1954 and 1919! That's the oldest coin I've ever found so I'm psyched about that one! I figure if those were out there the silver can't be too far off...
Also found a junk ring and a piece of metal that I can't figure out. I'll try to post a pic of the metal later...need some help on that one.
On a side note, I hit the beach about a month ago and found my first piece of gold! It was a tiny earing but big enough to see the 14K inside...
