I try and take my dog detecting with me as often as possible , though he is usally not a lot of help he enjoys it. I also have to watch to be sure he doesn't overheat and bring a dish for him to have plenty of cool water. With black fur he seems to soak in the heat. If I try and slip out with out him I usally get a dirty look. He knows when he sees me put the detector in the truck where I am going.

So far so good! One week into infiltrating this place and everything appears to be dinky dao and 5X5! I've not been over friendly with the other residents, going out of my way to be brusk until I figure out what kind of situation I have gotten myself into ...I dont need to be schlepping somebody to their lumbago appointment, or slugging bags of groceries around, or cleaning out a diaper plugged crapper or hauling bags of trash to the dumpster...I aint nobodies Grandkid here!..

I'm sure there is some community chatter, and they are wondering what my dealio is...this should provide some entertainment for us all, should get us all through the Summer at least...I'm gonna roll with it, being the 'International Mystery Man'!...Yeah Baby!

One old Bluehair Lady invited me into see her collection of Hummels, but I politely declined..I'm too smart to fall for that old trick!, you know what that leads to? One minute you are admiring a fleet of Hummels, the next you are looking at pictures of Grandkids or giving a foot rub! I'm playing it cautious this time!! I didnt fall off the turnip truck yesterday ya know!.
