I would love it but it out of the budget right now. I'm just getting back into detecting.I have an old White but looking to get something to use in old mining towns.
What area of the western USA are you in. Mineralization may make Deus 1 a "no go" compared to Deus 2 which can handle just about any mineralization whether it's magnetite, salt, volcanic material, fertilizer, coke or all of them at once.
Hate to see you spend around $800 or so on a Deus 1 when for a little more you could get a Deus 2.

Be advised there is a configuration one can purchase called a WS6 master Deus 2 setup..:
There is looks like around $150 difference between Deus 2 WS6 (just wireless back phones/module) master setup vs Deus 1 Lite (with just wireless back phones module) setup.

I thought about which coil I should get when I bought my Deus a while back I have both the 9" X35 and the 9" HF (high frequency) coils now. From my experience, not my first Deus, the 9" is just about as deep as the 11", but lighter and that is important to me. The HF 9" is even lighter. I think the HF coil is better at small low conductors, like gold, and the X35 is better at high conductors like coins. I might even go a bit more to say I think the X35 may be just a tad deeper.
I hunt a lot of schools and tot lots so I prefer the 9" HF. When I hunt relics at old forts or open parks I prefer the X35.

Buy from Big Boy Hobbies but go with the Deus 2, get the Master if your only doing land & get the WSA2 XL headphones.. As far as coil I like the 9" best but also use the 11x13 occasionally. Didn't like the 11 & sold it.

Got a Deus 1 with the 9'' 11" 13x11" LF coil's and a 9" Hf white for sale.
All coil's hold a good charge also have a detecting doodads
charger plus the original charger.
Plus the ws4's and remote with all cords and box. Remote has screen protector on it and cover on it.
