These were dug at the best site I ever found! A virgin site that was either started in 1660, or 1719. It was the home of a very wealthy land owner, and I know their last name, but will never reveal it as it would be a huge clue! Well over a 200 relics found. Including the find of a lifetime! A 24th regiment of foot cartridge pouch plate. The 24th final battle was in bennington Vt, and the prisoners were held in Rutland Mass. About 60 miles away. I have seen these buttons dug before, but never seen one with the enamel intact except for these. Almost got the whole coat. These were found of a very large area, over a matter of years.
