couple more buttons for ya

here are 2 buttons I found in the same field i found the hand bag. the first one appeared to be just a normal flat button but as you can see there is a small eagle just above where the shank once was,no writing that i can see,has anyone ever seen this before and maybe know a date or if that is the makers mark? the second one is in bad shape but it appears to have a buffalo head in the center and says "last buffalo" and some other words i cant read the photo is even harder to see but i can see it clearly in person so sorry for the bad pic.

Looks like a medical insignia. Maybe a doctor wore the button. Old lab coat???
