So I got a tumbler and I am experimenting with it. It’s working well so far I am working on quarters and I found an over looked silver Canada silver quarter and during sorting I have found two buffalo nickels I over looked. I’m still sorting and am hoping to find one more silver. I should be out hunting right now but drinking beer on my deck and sorting crusty beach change is pretty fun

Doesn't look much of a difference, I'd stick to detecting and beer tonight. As I am. Bugs are out of control, 6 inches down and the ants and other bugs are jumping out of the ground

I used my tumbler for the clad, never on silver, best of luck with it.

It was crusty I didn’t know what it was until I took it out
If I had known it was silver it wouldn’t have been tumbled they are nominally purple with I find them on the beachI used my tumbler for the clad, never on silver, best of luck with it.

Beer then bourbon, when I feel like I want to get a good buzz. A 2 beer buzz most nights, beer is proof that there is a god. Been hitting old school playgrounds lately and haven't even looked at what is the bag in over a week. Going to post tomorrow.

Oh I miss the loving embrace that beer and cocktails provide after a hard day detecting. I'm on a Hellish diet to lose some weight (800 cals per day), and I'm on day 11 of 40. Might as well shoot me now (but I have lost 11 pounds).

I have tumbled a bunch of pennies and low and behold there was a silver Rosie in the mix. Good job on the Canadian.

I'm on the tail end of tumbling about $900 worth of clad. It's been quite a long process using the little Harbor Fright tumbler. Pretty tired of dealing with it at this point, really. But have noticed two silver rosies after tumbling that I'd mistaken as clad when dug.
