BEWARE of seller BluegrassJames

From the die cast forum thread it looks like he has joined the military to try to escape the repercussions of all of his scams. Says he leaves oct 27th.
I think that was just another way to scam for him. It says he is being deployed so he would have already been through boot. If he really is in military-GOOD. Either his past will catch up to him and he will get a bad conduct discharge OR he will continue his scummy ways and screw up-get caught and get a serious beat down and a bad conduct discharge. A leopard doesn't change its spots!

KentuckyDiggin obviously had multiple screen names no one knew about as he signed on with JRAGEN in 2011 and possibly another screen in 2010 that is irrelevant as I pended that name as well.

Thanks Craig. I appreciate the thankless job you and Rudy do! I'm thankful that I recognized the scam early enough to file a claim. I feel for those that didn't or sent money as a "gift".
I'm going to contact some local authorities tomorrow to see if there's anyway to file a report since I got the money back.
Learned my lesson too. Big time! I've dealt with many good honest people on this forum, I guess I thought they all were. As someone else said, the part about him being in the military really made me angry, once I knew he really wasn't military. I even thanked him for his service and blessed him and his family on his deployment! GRRRRR!

I'd say that chances are 100% that the whole supposedly joining the military is just a bogus way to try to establish credibility to further his sales and all part of his scam. Remember the scumbag has had a lot of practice at this.

I wonder if anyone has sent a message to every one of his listed friends on facebook telling everyone what a thief he is. Also go on his girlfriends page and message her and every one of her friends. Just a thought.

It's hard to tell. This guy is pathological. He told me he was being deployed but his WIFE would be doing the shipment AND she was the one writing MOST of the messages.
Who is the woman in the pic with him? Wife, girlfriend, fiancé? She looks too nice to be involved with the likes of him!

When he goes to prison, hopefully she'll get that tramp stamp covered up

Interesting point about the Nigerian lottery scams using the same name. I am guessing that the mods have IP addresses that confirm his Kentucky location.

It wouldn't be the first time though that I've seen the Nigerians steal an identity and use it to make themselves seem like legitimate Americans.

Saw an episode of Dr. Phil once where they were exposing these bastards and they had stolen the identity and pics of an American military member and were using that person to create online relationships with vulnerable women. They managed to scam them out of thousands of dollars by preying on their emotional attachment.

I know we aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, but seeing the picture of that guy, he doesn't strike me as being a sophisticated and savvy scam artist.

I would say no. From everything I've read on this thread and the one at treasurenet it sounds like several people have contacted him and his family and involved the police.

If that were the case any honest person would be on these forums telling people about the scam and working with moderators and the police to clear their name.

Here ye, Here ye!

This guy thinks he is playing it smart, and only scamming people out of amounts that don't qualify as Grand Larceny. However (comma) he made a costly mistake.

Mr. Kirby has illegally claimed to be a US Soldier. He has also scammed people out of money, and other tangible goods whilst portraying to be a soldier.

Wrongful Appropriation while under the pretenses of a Soldier, is a violation of the Stolen Valor Act, and is a FEDERAL OFFENSE. For those that don't know, a Federal Offense is a FELONY.

Let's drop the hammer on this tool..

I'm not 100% sure, but I think to be prosecuted under the Stolen Valor Act you have to be claiming to have a serious medal(MOH, silver star, purple heart etc) and trying to make financial gain from it??
