ANYBODY IN THEIR 60's

I'm 65 and feel young yet - except when I get up in the morning after a day of detecting :) If I had known retirement was going to be so great I'd have done it a lot earlier, 12 years now !! Steve in so az

9 more years and I'll join that decade. Then I will be half-way through my life.:yes::yes: Remember: getting old beats the alternative; getting old is the Objective!
:D

Hi,
I am 75 years old and have some health issues. I can't move very fast and dig a lot of holes like the young swingers. But I can sweep along with the rest and mark my hits with a golf T then go back and dig them with a folding chair to sit on. I can dig enough holes in a day to more than make it worth while. The exercise and fun help to keep me young in spirit.

you're my hero. and thanks for the tip on the golf tee, 2 step approach. i'm sure it will prolong my digging career.

I'm 65, and will be retiring this June. I don't feel old. I try to be active, I think I do more than some of the young people I know. MDing is one of the things I will be doing to get me outdoors. I live near the Connecticut shore, so there's lots of beaches to hunt. I also am a member of a photography club, and a astronomy club, My wife and I also like ballroom dancing. Like I said, I don't feel old.:D
