Anderson Shaft on Deus II

I would also talk to Steve at Steve's Detector rods. I think Steve is making some innovative rods and control box holders for the Deus II. His stuff changed my whole perception of the Equinox 800.
Probably the easiest way to contact him is Facebook.

atomicbrh -- thanks for the "plug," it's much appreciated!

botics -- to the best of my knowledge (though I could be wrong), Anderson doesn't offer a counterweight, so you'd have to rig something up "DIY" in that case. On the other hand, my Deus II shafts can (optionally) be built "counterweight-ready" (i.e. with threaded fitting installed in the butt end of the shaft), and that fitting is what enables my counterweight to attach to the shaft. It can be added or removed just by screwing/unscrewing, and the amount of weight you use is adjustable (as you can unscrew the cap of the counterweight, and add or remove weight to the tube as necessary).

Please contact me if you have any questions, or would lie more information.

Thanks,

Steve

I am glad I spent the money and went the whole way with the complete counterweight ready shaft, the adjustable weight set and spare coil washer kit.
Made in Oklahoma. Worth every penny. I do not think Steve's system can be improved upon.
