    Hope this is CW...

Hi everyone. Just started metal detecting again, haven't since I was a kid. I dug this lead arrowhead up a couple days ago on my third time out. I am hoping it is a Civil War relic, something a soldier carved at a camp site maybe as a poker or chess piece but I'm not sure. Ive also heard that...

    Louisiana Relics

Hi all, my name is Jonathan. I have been relic hunting over the past 20 years with my dad from the day I could walk. I have decided to create a website in order to sell many of the items we have found and as an informational tool for others interested in old relics. Right now I only have a few...

Weird civil war relic - Need help!

I have found several of these small brass (so I believe due to the coloring and lack of corrosion) tubes. They are tapered at one end and have a small splice on the same end. I am almost certain it is some miscellaneous civil war relic, due to their proximity to other identifiable relics I have...

    Where to go Charleston

Hey guys, I'm in the Charleston area (Isle of Palms), and I was wondering where are some good places to detect. My MD doesn't really like the beach, so I'd like to go somewhere with historical significance, and preferably closer to Isle of Palms than Folly Beach. Thanks!

LIFETIME FIND!! Rectangular C.S.A. Buckle!! Authenticated 2-26-14!

:shock::shock::shock:I found this today and I am still speechless. It was about 8 or 9 inches deep. I have done just a little research so far on this buckle and know that it is a "Atlanta Arsenal" style and looks fantastic. I will be researching it much more...

    Found On Old Family Property

I found this on my family's property in South Georgia. There are ties to the Civil War and and the Brunswick-Florida (pre-civil war)/Brunswick-Albany (post-civil war) Railroad runs through the property. I think this might be a belt buckle. I think the letters visible are ST C. Anybody seen one...

Civil war bullets? Dates? Coal miner pendant.

Hi all, I've been enjoying finding these non-magnetic bullets, the round ball on the top left is non-magnetic, the one on the bottom is magnetic so I think that might be a baring. Can anyone verify these bullets dates? types? there is no writing on them. The long thing is magnetic, strange...

    Jacksonville/St. Augustine

Hello everyone, I am looking for a relic hunting buddy! I work for the railroad and have a random schedule. I had a buddy in Vero beach but he moved to the gulf side. I used to do a lot of sand hunting but would rather hunt old home sites, abandoned land, or areas of beach that were only...
