what would likely be your next detector?

have used a tesoro mojave for quite a while now, and enjoy
trying to discern what's under the coil.audio,is the most accurate discriminator,
however, after 35 years in this wonderful hobby, i am considering purchasing an eq 600.
i believe the 'simultaneous"' muti-frequency transmitted signals in to the ground are making a difference in finding "partially masked" goodies that are still left in the "cooked" parks and other public places. have been studying this "approach" for some time, and am convinced
from forum conversations and videos that technology from "down under" is ahead of the curve...i'm just sayin'

(h.h.!)

If I would be held to only one machine,it would be the XP deus with the 9" X35 coil. It is my go to machine. The Makro multi anfibio would be my second choice. The anfibio requires more learning time, it's quite finicky in some situations but worth the trouble to completely understand its capabilities.

One where bottle tops dont ring up as quarters,

An anfibio with its settings tweaked. It is fool proof, haven't seen anything close to it for bottle caps. I use to think the T2 was good,it can't hold a candle to an properly set anfibio .

Since I don't see anything new and ground breaking coming out of White's anytime soon (unless I missed some anouncement somewhere)... My next detector if I need to pick one up will likely be a Nox600.

What ever new catches my fancy LOL.

I've got what best works for me so until something new I feel has potential, I'm good to go.

There is nothing new that I am interested in. The F75 LTD is doing real good for locating tokens and coins.

Nokta/Makro for my detecting don't separate metal from coins good enough.
Minelab needs to put more ID numbers for better separation.

I like the Vanquish 540 or 440 as my second detector. Only machine I have is the 705 and I like the multi freaks and 12" coil on the V.
But..... That Simplex+ is a little teaseser in deed.

My Fishing Buddy

My fishing buddy tells me "you should buy another NOX 800", when the one you have quits, you'll have a back up. I am seriously thinking about doing just that. I've only had my NOX 800 for about 6 or 8 outings and I love it. I've already bought the carbon fiber shafts, and the fifteen , and six inch coils. and added a counter balance. Only thing I need now is to buy a back-up NOX 800.
HH everyone

If the videos on these new lower price detectors are reliable. I can't see spending over 4-500 hundred on a machine anymore. That's especially so if your just a coin n jewelry Hunter I mean that's me anyway.

If I hadn't of already upgraded to the Equinox then I would have bought the Minelab Vanquish 540 most likely because it is light and will do saltwater for a low price.

I am thinking about nugget hunting and might go with the Nox 800 to go along with the 600 I already have.
Or a strickly gold machine but it would make more sense to go with the Nox.

:dash3:

Depending on your hunting style; beach, land, water, etc. I made a list in this blog - Essential Gear - that doesn't compare one machine to another, but rather just some basic pros and cons. Based on those, I gave my final recommendation at the bottom of the article, but that's based on my preferences for hunting for the most part. Hope this helps!

Reconsidered. Never mind.

I would definitely consider buying the new simultaneous multi frequency detector by Nokta Makro when it is released. Also, I always wanted to try a Whites Spectra V3i..............
