The Hoover Boys and the MAX

I want to believe your logic here so bad but I can't.
Why?
Why didn't they just stick to their At Pros then and blow off the the Max.

You know, I don't follow the fellows. They indeed may be on the up and up.
Maybe you do follow.
Do they ever put a video together where they hunt a site and find very little to nothing worthy.

You know, I don't think I ever saw a show where Roland Martin's boat didn't have a fish or 2 or more being reeled in.

Don't think I have ever seen one of those $25,000 plus Ranger boats break down either. Seems they are always going full bore with no problems.

Funny this is, both detecting and fishing I've been skunked many times.
Better check the price on the Ranger Boats.. 25k X 3 will get you in a upper end one lol.

That's where your wrong. Woodbutcher doesn't like iron and moves on to cleaner sites were there is no iron.....BTW those finds came from the iron. How do you think I know which fields to go look in? If you cant or wont hunt iron you would have had trouble with those finds.
You could make the same finds if you hunted the same fields.

NOPE. If he hunted the same fields as you he could make the same finds. You find what's lost dependent on the area you live. Can't find it if it's not there.

I’m sure people are gonna disagree with me,but skill is a small fraction of this hobbie. When you relic hunt, and dig it all, where’s the skill involved?
And when you use a Etrac that has spot on ID at depth, and you dig a 10 inch quarter that gave a 12 47,,where’s the skill come in?
Luck is what it is that you got the coil over it,that’s pretty much it.

I guess luck got me to the site too??? There are certain skills in detecting that can increase your chances of having GOOD luck.......

Skill and natural talent do play a part. Having the right eye for sites and clues , as well as a talent for research play a huge role....anyone else is at the mercy of luck alone. Location is most important , but instinct comes in a close second. I didnt used to think the detector used made such a huge difference , but my recent purchase and its capabilities have changed my mind on that in a big way.

When anyone makes a nice find.
We congratulate.

If Imwant to know more info, I will ask questions.

I love it when anyone makes a nice find.
Why?
It motivates me.
In my mind I hope anyway maybe I too can find something worthy.
Don't always work though.

Just like fishing.
No one will ever catch a fish unless they have a pole in the water.
And the pole don't have to be one of the more expensive ones either.
Some big fish have been caught on cane poles.

My grandmother years ago caught a small bluegill out of a river on a can pole.
My dad told here put the line back out there with blue still hooked.
A few minutes later she was pulling in a 10 pound catfish.

I use the ATPro with a NEL Storm coil. So far I think I'm doing pretty good. I detect with a few guys that use Minelabs and we compare targets to see if we are getting the depth and the same type of target with the different machines. These finds are from my last hunt. I think the 1836 Republica Mexicana coin is counterfeit ? Also found 14 wheats and some clad.

He's not around anymore. These days he does his insulting and belittling on Dankowski's once active forum.

I’m personal friends with the Hoover boys, they use the big coils for open fields but once they locate a patch of iron they will use the small coil, brad has been using the nox a lot lately

I noticed that in their videos. I wonder if the others will switch.

I highly doubt the others will, brad liked to venture out which is a good thing, I tell them the the nox is a way better machine but the places they hunt you could use a stick and find coppers and reales lol

You should dare them to use a bounty Hunter junior at those sites, I bet they would find more relics than I do in a year haha
