He has to pivot to a new story. The Dents Run well is about to run dry....
No. It's not about to "run dry". It's got :
1) proofs of coverup (lack of ability of authority figures to produce XYZ documents). That's not "dry" , is it ? And
2) It's got a potential TV show. That's not "dry", is it ?
C'mon Go-deep, you gotta get your word definitions correct ! And no, this has never been a "new story". It's been the "story" ALL ALONG.
The government has asked for a 2-week extension to file their reply and opposition to our cross-motion. I have lost count on how many extensions they got this year, we have not asked for 1 extension. I guess they need more time to cover the mistakes they made. The AP has the story and the longer this stalls the better it gets. I just keep finding more and more things in the FBI Files that prove a Night Dig.
..... the well is running dry ....
His kind of behavior almost makes you want to try and match his media output by trying to get go deep on a tv show somewhere disproving him. I would watch a well put together documentary of going over the life and lies of Dennis. One of those shows that debunks myths and conspiracy theories
When parada claimed he found Templar graves and a Templar vault in Nova Scotia a few years back (of course without presenting any actual evidence), once the cable tv show fell thru he never mentioned it again.UUhhh, yes, the well is running dry for discerning logical minds like yours and rational persons-like-you. But for the general public, who are swoon by bleary eyed treasure-ghost-stories : No.
As logical as the "logic" is to critical thinkers like you and I, yet, I am amazed at how the casual viewer/reader to these "salacious stories", is drawn in by the swoon.
For example : One of my best md'ing buddies and I were on a multi-day travel-trek md'ing trip a few years ago, and ... the subject of Oak Island came up. And to my surprise, this buddy of mine (who I thought would be an intellectual skeptic like myself) was actually sympathetic to the story and claims. Eg.: "Gosh, there has to be something there, because of X, Y, Z factors". So I began, one-by-one, to disassemble the points (showing the more plausible explanations). BUT THE POINT BEING , is that : The general public (yes, even people you think should know better) are drawn in by the cliff-hanger-Hollywood presentations. Who can resist a good conspiracy ? Who can resist a good treasure story ?
And yes I know you think that Dennis knows full well this is all bullcr*p. But I still think that Dennis is equally hoodwinked. People actually do believe conspiracy nonsense, and are perfectly sincere in the process. And lest you think this is giving Dennis a free-pass green-light , I remind you that the net effect is that I'm essentially calling him "stupid". While you're essentially calling him a "liar". Neither label is that nice, eh ?
I'll donate to the, "GoDeep and Tom_in_CA Fantastical Treasure Claims Debunked" show on youtube. While there's no doubt that cliffhanger treasure and spook stories are what tends-to-sell in Hollywood, yet : There is also a demand for debunkers. Not as much unfortunately, but .... as an example, the dude "Amazing Randi" was quite in demand for his commentary and debunking efforts, when it came to paranormal stuff (psychics, etc....).
Thus : If Dennis ever gets his wishes, and this becomes the "next Oak Island" publicity, then yes : I hope that voices like Go-deep, get called upon, and interviewed, for the contrary push-back view. I realize there's no harm and no foul when/if people believe this D.R. nonsense (just like people believe O.I. and it's no sweat off our backs). But it's just that : This D.R. thing is a rare opportunity where it's current-events. Things where you can go to the "primary source documents" of the said-evolution.
Unlike O.I. and other such legends, where, when you go to ask "says who ?", you are merely pointed back to the legend itself (circular logic) . But in the case of this D.R. thing, we can FINALLY go to the source, and SEE how the psychology unfolds. And I'll bet you dollars to donuts, that so-too are all the legends of antiquity born the same way.
When parada claimed he found Templar graves and a Templar vault in Nova Scotia a few years back (of course without presenting any actual evidence), once the cable tv show fell thru he never mentioned it again.
Parada doesn't believe in his lies, he knows exactly what he is doing.

The irony for parada would be that you and GoDeep would probably be contacted by a cable TV channel to produce a show. You got a deal. Kindly deposit $1,000 to my paypal, and I'll get right to work on it
But seriously now : In this day & age where people consume their news and commentaries via Youtube or google (no one buys newspapers or reads books these days), then : Yes, a Youtube video that ANSWERS these D.R. claims, would probably get hits.
How about it Go-deep ? If you're set up to do a zoom call, let's do it as an interview style. Ok ?

They aren't mutually exclusive; he can be a liar and still "believe"......
Well, ok. He believes there's treasure, while at the same time being fully aware that the story isn't logically adding up (and altering it to fit things, as he goes along). Thus yes : can hold both states of being, at the same time. Which is a pretty sad state of affairs
