With several consecutive days in the 40s, the ground thawed out in a few places so I was able to get out for a bit on Sunday. I went back to one of the oldest parks in town and hunted the south facing slopes. A solid 26 on the Equinox and showing deep, I was sure I had found my first silver of the year.
At about 8 inches down, I recovered this US marked WW1 vintage collar disc. Screw back was bent but what the hey!
