I wish I could contribute to this thread but it seems like if you live in Oregon there is not much silver in the ground :(

I have yes. I've found a Mercury Dime, silver war nickels, about 15 wheaties, a couple buffalo nickels, and one Indian head. I'm just going through a dry spell! And the only reason I can think of is that oregon just hasn't been around long enough to find silver as easily as most of you guys out there.

Who knows, maybe I'm wrong. I'm not going to stop trying though!

A few more. :)

CW, I like that dime rim shot. It's always exciting to see the silver rim in a big clump of dirt. You just never know what is in there!

When I saw it I thought instantly about all the rim shot pics on this site I have seen!! I was so stoked!! When I got the signal it was kinda iffy but I said to myself if this signal is repeatable Im digging!!!!! Then in 5 foot I got a 11-47 signal to 12-46 I knew I had a silver quarter

Anyone got any more pics of dirty silver? Mmmm.....ust keep thread alive!

Come on guys and gals, lets see some pics of your dirty dug coins!

Back in September the ground was like concrete. :( But I managed to get a couple of pics. One is a 1900 barber dime and the other is an 1898 barber dime found within 3 feet of each other.

Very nice finds! Man, you just can't beat seeing that silver in the dirt. It brings back the feeling of finding it all over again versus just seeing it cleaned on the counter. Nice pics!
