Quest for gold leads to silver

Got out today for an all day hunt with Curtis (Carcur) at a local lake. I was determined to find a gold ring as you can see from my trash pics, but it just didn't happen.
On the plus side though I did find 4 silver coins, $6.50 in clad, and a junk ring.
So it turned out to be a great day hunting with my friend in the unseasonably warm sun.

Yes, we can land hunt now. The ground was frozen for a few weeks, but now it's pretty much thawed. All this was found in the dry sand/rocks. The lake is very low.
