Found today, could not identify any markings other than the B in center. Appears to be small cursive writing under the b...small trim piece was detached.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you can pop off the back cover. Most pocket watches have maker marks on movement. Inside of back cover might have maker of case. If jeweled movement see if they are all red. If so newer but could still be 100 years old. Before synthetic sapphires jewels could be different colors as natural sapphires many colors.

lemon juice or CLEAR lime/rust remover works. might be able to make out anything else but the 'B'

Looks like it could be A-8, which is a navigation watch for ground speed, but those watches only have digits 1-10, not 1-12. Your watch has 12 digits.

A-8 type watch.

Taking an educated guess here. I'm going with what is known as a "dollar watch." Made by companies like Ingersoll. The case seems to be of that style, as well as the dial. It is definitely not an A-8. Those were stopwatches, hence the 10 digit dial.

You guys are great! I have been crazy busy with life and missed all the posts and people here. I will pop off the cover and try to clean it up some more.
Im not very good with my equinox but yesterday the soil was good for digging
