Nice little Chinese cup

My son Jason was out bottle digging and detecting yesterday where he lives on an old mining claim in Northern California. 3.5 feet down he ran onto this little Chinese cup, in pieces. He was looking for the missing piece today. Does anyone know anything about this cup?
