You are probably using a single frequency detector.. I looked at that line hunt the dirt with it stay off the beach... salt and minerals will make the detector sound off its not made for beach hunting...

Answer me something the ad says it doesn't use batteries for its power source instead it uses air?

To beach hunt you need to invest in a higher end name brand detector.

Welcome, everyone here will try to help you, I am sure of that.

sorry but that is a chinese detector that don't have the best quality.
sell it on ebay as used for $30 -$35 and cut your losses.

If you are near beaches then watch some beach hunting videos. At the least you will need a good multi-freq detector like the Equinox 600.

You will learn how to read beaches so you will know where to hunt on those huge beaches. Not really that hard, but it is a learned skill.

There are experienced beach hunters with the right (expensive) detectors who pay for their detector and more every single month. If I lived 30 minutes from Florida beaches I would be hitting them almost daily. Go to the largest public beach you can find. Hint, use google earth, they have the biggest parking lots. Next look for the most expensive condos or hotels, their guest loose the most expensive jewelry. Finding a multi thousand dollar diamond wedding ring is not uncommon for the experienced beach hunter in Florida. Not every day mind you, but every month or so, it is possible. Again that is for the experienced beach hunter.

rings move around in the wet sand and eventually group themselves in a certain area that also can change from day to day. It can be there one day with multiple rings within detector reach or the next day covered with 2 feet of sand which is not within detector reach. That is why local beach hunters have a huge advantage over the average joe on vacation with a metal detector. His ability to find a ring will be pure luck, not skill.
hope this helps.
