You may need two MAPP gas torches? I found a kiln a month ago in a thrift shop for 5 bucks. Has a hole on both sides if you need to bust it with extra heat. Back when I had torches for Plumbing I used to just melt it in a spoon and borax it. You may google using wood shavings and candle wax instead of borax? I've seen guys who melt tire weights use it. Not sure what it does for gold or silver?

lol yeah I’ve been keeping it a secret til this summer when I unleash it it’s gonna upset a lot of people lol but those that aren’t locals well they should be very interested as this may be the new way I can cover ground and get lots of targets with out as much heart trouble and be fun to watch

Get a crucible and start small. Start pouring smaller bars first til you get the hang of it. Once you get some experience under your belt I'd invest in a kiln and bigger ingot molds. I really enjoy PMC, but once that starts to bore you look into jewelry making. A really cool process, and a way you can turn your finds into something you will actually use. Here's a couple cigar bands I made from scrap gold and silver from detecting....HONK HONK :
I even had a custom punch made for my logo:
Good luck with your endeavors, and please keep us posted!
