Hey tom, how's the beach hunting down there and up around santa cruz? I have a couple spots in mind that I'd want to hit up and down hwy 1.
Jeff (or) do you ever try the river where people do all the floats? I've never floated up there, but I hear it's pretty intense. Is it the sac river? maybe too big to try to find dropped treasure. Some friends and I have dropped some nice stuff at our float.
General quarters, where in washington? I want to head back up there for some beaches.
Flat six, how'd you like that snow/hail today?
Groundsweeper, so much good stuff in placer county. Jealous!
Finger-chili : Most of the long-time hard-core guys I hunt with around here, are strictly storm erosion wet-sand hunters. (as opposed to dry sand hunters, or just randomly showing up any old day). We wait for the right combination of swells, tides, and on-shore winds to hopefully erode the beach. And let mother nature group all the targets in convenient zones , like a giant riffle board for us
And this year has been an extremely lame winter. The winter before we had some good spots open up at various Monterey area and S. Cruz area beaches. But this year ......... lame so far.
