Welcome Steve and son! I'm in Montco too. What type of finds are you mainly searching for?
Anything and everything....so far we have hit up some local parks, an 1850's home, Tyler Park, my yards lol.

I also go out hunting several times a week. Im in Ambler and always looking for new spots. I have a few hot spots around town that have produced british coppers back to 1749 as well as a good variety of early American coins. My son got an late 1700s 8 Reale in town. We also have a couple of good bottle dump spots that produce local bottles. We are always looking to meet up with a local or too and pool resources and find some good stuff. Reach out.
Very cool! I don't really have any good spots yet. I've got 3 little ones at home so my son and I sneak to the local parks and gather all the clad haha...well we have found a ton of wheaties...old flat buttons, and some other cool older things...

Do some research. Alot of times parks are on old home sites. One of my public parks produces coins all the way back to mid 1700s regularly
I have found some old stuff at the park that I go to so you're 100% correct.
