These Gentlemen and Ladies came in the Post very late this afternoon as some unknown reason they did not arrive until after 3:30 pm Royal Standard Time!

KT escorted them in and sat in the Royal Courtyard with them while we all had copious glasses of sweet tea to quench our thirsts! The older two ladies were glad to have the refreshments and were very talkative with KT, wishing to relate their travels. After speaking with them, KT turned his attention to the Bens and Kens, and one of the Bens spoke up, stating that they had met these ladies whilst on the road, and decided to provide them protection on their travels. They were surprised to find out that the Ladies wished to be escorted to KT's Royal Kingdom as that is where the men were going anyway!:yes:

The men were from various backgrounds, but all widows, having lost their spouses to illnesses a few years back. They had known each other before retirement and just decided to take a road trip and see the country!

KT informed the group that His Majesty was very happy to have them and had accommodations available for them all, should they wish to stay. We then all went on a tour of the Castle, before showing them the Gents and Ladies bathes. Once cleaned up, they all returned to the Courtyard where KT had the Royal Photographer ready to take their group photograph. Tomorrow we all shall take a tour of the Royal Grounds, vineyards and farms, and even visit the Royal Carpenters and Foresters, as well as our Game Hunters. They are all excited to take that tour! Presently they have all retired for the evening after a dinner in their honor.

Enjoy the Royal Photograph!

There sure is something about silvers, especially when they come in the 90% format. Since I've never dug a Walker (yet) or a 90% Kennedy (yet) but have lucked upon Mr. Franklin from the lake bottom muck a year or two back, I'm partial to the Benji's, but they all look like very nice additions to the Hoard-o-KT, because you know, we all know, that's what it has come to

Nice pickups KT :)

Thank you, GroundSweeper! KT always appreciates your perspective! And His Majesty understands…in a year of solid MDing, KT only recovered one silver coin….a 64 Rosie…and He did not recognize what He had until back at the Castle!:laughing::laughing: So for trying to get more decent silver after the CRHing efforts were cut off, KT chases “bargains” on the auction block. For every winning offer, KT makes some 40 to 50 that are overbid or rejected by the seller, but that helps keep KT’s interest! Always a nice surprise to win some! :kingdances::kingdances:And KT loves the Hoard-o-KT comment! :cool3:

I like your tenacity KT. I wish the CU's would deliver boxes for you again some day, but you sure have had a lot of nice visitors to the Castle in lieu recently. I've not found a ton of silver coins detecting, and nothing overly aged/old (YET) but a decent handful or two at least. Old stuff keeps evading me, but hey, it's all part of the hobby right? I did hit the lake at lunch today and turned up a nice gold wedding band, so luck hits every so often to us all. May it hit you some more, gently of course, and Kingly.

Royal Congrats on that gold, GroundSweeper! Ha ha. When KT was CRHing, He recovered several gold rings from the coin machine! Would hear something rattling around in it and would wait until it turned off, and stick the Royal fingers in as far as they would reach, feeling around, and could, just barely, work whatever it was onto my finger to extract it! One time it was a small 18k with a jade stone and the other time it was a men’s gold 14k wedding band! KT still has both those keepers in the Royal Ring collection! :kingdances: :kingdances:

His Majesty is headed now to bid on some more silvers!

Thanks for your story kt. Very awesome hunt !!! :clapping: :clapping: :rofl2: :chaplin: :chaplin: :wow2: :wow2: :woot:

too_pointer…thanks very much for your comment! But I must correct you apparent misconception. This is not the result of MDing, but the long time effort to seek out and purchase reasonably priced silver halves! It would be an unbelievable hunt if it were so.
