These young Bens were patiently awaiting KT's arrival at the Castle Gate when KT arrived back from His Royal Lunch!
They were escorted in, and served iced tea and some of the Queen's special oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies, while we sat in the shade in the central courtyard of the Royal Castle. Once made comfortable, they began to tell KT their life stories.
They all had been employed in security work, some for state and others for the federal government, but now had retired after many years service, and joined together to travel around the USA, sharing expenses and just enjoying life. But secretly they all had a desire to settle down somewhere, then they heard about the Royal Kingdom, and how well retirees were treated. So they decided to come as a group and see what they found out....a little detective work on the situation, perhaps! HA HA Anyway, KT has need of additional security in and around the Royal Castle, so His Majesty offered them jobs in their area of expertise, and took them to meet the other men working in the Castle involved in security, both guards and detectives. Their addition will add an additional 30% to the Royal Force, and they were gladly welcomed by the other men. Four of the 5 Bens accepted the opportunity immediately, and the 5th Ben, once he understood the setup, and how they would operate, also accepted. They will be on shift work, so they will learn the men that they are working with. They were also informed by their co-workers that all in the security force would report directly to KT, concerning various types of crimes, in the Kingdom, and they are expected to be of the utmost moral integrity, as KT would accept nothing less from each man, whether he was working guard duty or doing detective or investigative work. KT will have a Royal Banquet in honor of their arrival this evening.
They were sent off to the Royal Photographer for a group picture, before retiring to the Royal Baths to get ready for tonight's feast!
