They probably made the antenna cord extra long for the brave souls that will take the machine 10' deep.

But for a waist deep guy like me that leaves a lot of extra cord to deal with.

My solution was to use Velcro straps to affix the cord to a plastic rod I found at the beach and now I can just put the rod on when I want with more Velcro.

Someone here must have a neater solution. Here are my before and after pics.

What simpler, cleaner method has worked for other Deus users?

I shortened mine and drilled out the old wire. Stripped the cut wire to expose the inner antenna. Drilled out the cut antenna and epoxied the new stripped end in.
