Hoser, please don't confuse the terms "anecdotal testimony" with "lying" . It's not the same thing. I have no doubt you are very sincere. It's just that there can be : More plausible explanations for what you saw.

Hoser, it's the other way around . It's those that are saying "show us", that are saying : "Prove us skeptics wrong, we're waiting". Because remember : The burden of proof is on the claimant in this case. Right ? And by "prove" I don't mean anecdotal testimony. I mean : Double blind scientific tests.

Hoser, no one's mind is closed, when they say right-up-front, that they're open to seeing a double blind scientific study done on this subject. To show that it works. What could be more "open-minded" than that ?

Regarding the fellow with the beret cap : This test doesn't mean that dowsing didn't work : It merely means 1) he needs more practice, 2) he needs the brand of rods that the other guy had, or 3) durned those sun-spots anyhow.
Take your pick of excuses, but ..... at NO POINT does it ever mean : A) Doesn't work, or B) eventual random chance.

That's the power of suggestion.
The GER Deep seeker detector, the truth is I don't know if it locates anything, what it does detect are high voltage lines and the only way to check if it works or not is to locate a treasure with another detector and see that the GER does not detect anything on its own In this way, it performs some tests with the ionic and an ion generator and if it detects them, but the truth is I don't know if a treasure will detect it as they claim.

You’re right Tom I borrowed one for a weekend and a guy showed me how to use it but he said my aura wasn’t right that month, but I should go ahead and buy it because he’s sure my aura would be better next month and he would knock off $500 if I would buy it right now.Nah, you guys just didn't practice long enough. You're just being a bunch-of kill-joys. Tsk tsk. I mean, shucks, do you find a gold coin every time you go out md'ing ? Of course not. So why the double standard when evaluating this product ? Huh ? Huh ?
They do indeed work. You merely take them out, wave them at enough likely looking ruins, pull our your detector to "pinpoint". Dig countless holes, and .... when you FINALLY dig up a goodie, then presto !! It worked !! (hard to argue with success, eh ?). And if you DON'T find a goodie, it DOESN'T mean that the device doesn't work. That only means either 1) You need more practice, or 2) durned those sun-spots anyhow !
