It all started with permission to check the garden...

I guess I'm like the others and want to see updates. So please keep them coming.

I say WOW too! The revolver arouses suspicion. The bracelet could end up being an ID clue. If there's a skeleton in there, I hope they can find out who it was. Also hope you will keep us posted for the reveal, dig, and investigation.

Wow, what a great metal detecting adventure! I too find it odd they let you keep the gun. Rusted hunk of iron or not it could be related to what could be a crime scene.

I also find it interesting that your wife finally, reluctantly let you detect the garden area... almost like she had something to hide... Sleep lightly my friend.

Could it be ? Could it be the lost treasure from the knights templar found in your own backyard ? I can see you and Drayton making some $ here....

Pics of revolver

Looks like one of the clones of the British Bulldog pistols. There were French and Belgium versions with folding triggers (all end of the 1800s). The hammer looks low, probably not a pinfire model.

Wow what a story! Following. I checked your bio which states, recently retired at 48, now what. CSI may be in your future.
