I'm nuts, but I just had to try!!

Going out in those conditions is hardcore. Its not the snow that makes it hardcore, its having the guts to go out wearing a Yankees hat. (JK HEAVYMETALNUT, I had to do it)
tough but challenging conditions! that's aluminum. but it is possible to pull some nice stuff in the snow.2 years ago I dug this in 6 inches of the white stuff ;)

Oh yeah. Dave got BIG ***** wearing that hat when he hunts in your neck of the woods! Nice hunt Chris! ;)

:D Well, it wasn't exactly ideal conditions to do some beepin today, but I just wanted to see if it was possible. Hit my favorite patch of woods for about an hour before getting dark. I didn't get any coins, but I found a shotgun head stamp, a set of old keys, some trash, and what I thought was some gold with the word India stamped twice on the inside. I think it's just a gold colored piece of aluminum or tin. Not sure. I still had fun making my way through the eight or so inches of snow. It's supposed to be 50 to 60 degrees the next couple of days but probably really wet and muddy. Happy Hunting everybody!!

HaHa, man Im glad Im not the only one!!! Last year I used the snowblower to clear a 20 foot bt 50 foot or so section in my back yard. Found my first indian penny that way! Keep it up, hope the snow melts soon for you.

I'm bummed looking at all these winter finds. The ground up my way is as hard as a rock.... Amazing what a 150 miles makes.
