Wow that is a dream hunt! To find virgin grounds like that especially public grounds is nearly impossible. Congrats on the permission and the finds!

Thank you . I have a good friend that lives in Nebraska and owns alot of property out there. Some day i will get out there to hunt it hopefully.
 
Some very fantastic Hunting Mike. Like you said in the phone call your best day ever. I know how great that can feel. Huge congrats my friend. Hope that you can again get back on this site. Trapper

Thanks Trapper. I wiill definitely be going back. I really hope and think the playground and the whole back area should be alot better.
 
Congrats on a great silver haul, especially the Big Ben and the key date Merc. And all the other finds as well. Always great to find a site that's been overlooked. HH Mark

Iit was definitely a good time as far as going back i will be waiting until i take someone with me because it is not the best part of town. Two cops stopped and talkedd to me and thought it was really cool what i was finding so i told them what park i wanted to go to next and offered to let them use a couple of my other machines even with them being cops they wanted no part of it.

Love the marbles as much as the coins maybe more. Guess they remind me of a less stressed part of life. Not a care in the world other than having fun as a kid. The good old days . Thanks . HH

Was not expecting to much because the guy that gave me permission was telling me there had been some fill brought in and i noticed the sidewalks had been replaced and there was fill along them. so i started between the sidewalk and the building and the amount of garbage had the equinox going bonkers. So i moved to the other side of the sidewalk where the fill tapered off . I took a few steps and the 800 gave me the sweet sound of silver . So things were looking better. Then 3-4 swings the 800 was really singing to me and out popped Ben and so did the smile on my face. This placed obviously had not ever had been detected. This was all dug on Friday and i went back sunday and dug three more silvers not shown. The barber dime was dug by my daughter on a different hunt. Thanks for looking .
