Well done Romy! I just got back in town from our eclipse/Panama Canal cruise and it looks like I missed out on some beach erosion and a chance to meet another forum member.

You bet brother I will add pics for sure and some story the beach finds were mostly quarters and the one 14k pendant and the bay produced the rest including a silver Rosie

I ended up getting out again today, just picked up where we left off and hunted a bout 2 1/2 hrs., all crusty clad, only one shiny dime out of the two days. Top finds is from our hunt, bottom was today. again, thanks!!

It was a pleasure to hang with you Ken I’m glad ya got to get back out there but bummed i couldn’t get ya on an area that was producing some older finds. Next time ya visit lmk and hopefully we can find some history together. Til then GL&HH .

You know me Tom I don’t follow the normal routine and usually hunt areas most don’t so these weren’t your average so cal beaches but after a while of not being hunted they can accumulate a decent amount of finds . I love beach hunting more than anything but seeing a dozen guys on the sand can get discouraging as to why I do what I do . My chances of gold go down when i avoid the popular beaches full of hunters but i do find silver coins often in my areas I hunt so im happier to hunt areas that get hit less and dig lots of targets good or not anytime ya want to come my way lmk and will find a area to hit and see what we can come up with I will only take 40% lol jk

Hey Ken, good to see you posting again! Still here in SC?

Hey Ron, Had to move 2 years ago, took awhile to find something but ended up in Scotts Valley, nto too far still but closer to the grandkids. With the job change some years back, don't get out as much as I did before but hoping to pick it up some soon. It was fun to hook up with Romy as I grew up in that area so understand the history. Always good to meet the members when you can!
