Central NY, Keuka Lake

Happy Spring! Heading to Keuka Lake for a fishing vacation with a group of friends. I am looking to take half a day to get some dirt fishing in as well. Anyone have any experience in the area, places to check? Have a fun and safe summer!!

I don't, but I would for sure check any public beaches that the lake may have. Easy digging there!

There is a state park nearby, that through map research, I found 3 building sites on an 1866 map. Will check those out as well as a small public beach nearby. Thanks!

Be careful Penn Yan NY is my hometown and they are VERY strange about curb hunting etc. Unless you "know" someone its a very clicky town. Heck I grew up there and the only place I could detect when I was home was a couple of friends homes and the 2 beaches. Good luck and be sure to post your finds.
