First silver coin

1943P found yesterday not too far from the buffalo nickel I found.... Found it while going through yesterday's finds.... Not first silver but first silver coin.... It was a good day yesterday.... War & buffalo nickel along with a brass buckle.... Not gonna complain

Congrats! War nickels and buffalos are probably my 2 favorite coins to find. I’ve had luck cleaning the war nickels with lemon juice soaked on a q tip.

Soak it in lemon juice overnight then clean with baking soda.
