Thanks NCtoad! I hear you about cleaned out sites. Things are getting leaner and leaner. I am over due for a silver ring...hopefully in the very near future I will find some. But I did find a couple of pieces of gold last week.

That's a lot of quarters for one day! Good job! I love targeting quarters. It beats digging 25 zinc pennies at 6 - 8" any day! Although if there's a wheat mixed in I'd be glad to dig those too. Sometimes if I'm just out clad shooting I'll try to target quarters and dimes by sound, but I usually dig some pennies anyway just in case.

Thanks Lightning88! I am doing exactly like you are doing. And once in awhile a cent coin will come into the mix to keep things interesting. It is funny how things sometimes workout...you hit a location that produces 100 quarters or so and then you go on a dry spell.

Thanks ATPro Dude! Some days we are just in the right location when everything is going well. And I know there are more clad to be recovered from that location as I probably only did about a third of it. When things start to dry up, I will probably start digging some of the more lower conductor signals.

For the most part: Park 2, 50 tones, recovery 7, Iron Bias 2, and ground balanced frequently. This ground had a bit of iron and nails. I dug nearly everything 27-32 and some fluctuating <39s for possible spills.

Thanks brncofan! My quarter finds as well as the rest have been really good since using the Nox. I think I am on track to surpassing my last year's total coin counts too.

I found a park in Utah that gave up exactly 310.00 in quarters. To pop that many in one trip though? You must have gotten real tired fast. Unless your not 61 like I am.

Thanks ScubaDetector! Congrats to you too with your amazing 310.00 finds! I was lucky that day for several reasons, the ground was moist, target rich for a semi-tight area and no one was around. But it was hot as heck that day too...I probably could have found more but I was just getting too dehydrated and hot. As for the 61...over....lol.
