C'mon Springtime

Getting ready for good weather and hunting time.
Just ordered my Garret AT Pro pinpointer and the 31'' Lesche digging tool with holster.

Wife hopes I find enough clad to pay for it!

Happy Hunting all.

YES! C’mon spring! The woods here in western Massachusetts are well frozen in most places, I’ve tried several spots close by. Tot lots are frozen too but with a claw hammer can be broken up enough to find a target, 53 cents and 2 tokens for me Monday  but after an hour the cold won.

yeah, an hour of COLD for the 53 cents just isn't a fun hunt to me. Sorry.
I'm a warm weather hunter and will take what I find proudly.:D

After living in the south for about 15 years I've gotten acclimated to the weather so when we get cold weather I seem to feel it more than when I lived up north (maybe part of it is getting older too )

…….but I thought maybe you northern folks were more used to the cold

Gary,
What do you guys call "cold weather"? :?:
Working outside in New England in the winter takes its toll. Getting older plays a part too.
The only thing about the cold I got used to over my years is that I know it sucks worse every year.

Well, here in South Carolina I personally call it "cold" if it gets anywhere in the 30's

But even the 40's can feel uncomfortably chilly if it is damp out or breezy

Now back when we lived in Maryland colder temps were not unusual but back then I seemed to handle the cold better than I do now

Groundhog said we're getting an early spring...weatherman today said expecting a lot of snow this March...somebody is fibbing

….okay, never heard of "Carhartt" so had to look it up and saw they were a brand that has clothing for such weather

Whaaaat? never heard of Carh..... just go away lol:?:

I'm a fair weather detector myself, no snow, no rain, no cold, as long as there is beer and pizza, there's something else I could be doing. Hobby vs Sickness, I haven't got there yet:p:p:p

What are you guys talking about isn't it springtime? It sure is here.

Not trying to rub it in...my heinie! [emoji1787][emoji1787] Despite the fact that I've been hunting every day I can in the Michigan "winter", those temps are about my ideal. I dont like too much over mid 70s, esp when the humidity is high.

+1 in Arkansas. I think it's an age thing...lol. At 61, I sure can't handle it like I used too!
