Couldn’t get any of the regulars to door knock today so headed to
A standing permission that has been absolutely beat to death. My goal was a wheat. Ground is saturated so I figured I could get some depth.
Thee hours of gridding ground I’ve been over dozens of times...
1934 Merc was iffy and deep for silver #10 fty! The Injun was under a root at about 8” and real surprise, #2 for the tribe this year. Picked up 4 wheats back to 1924 and 4 Jeff’s from 50/60s.
Also found a first for me. 1930s Play Money: Mazuma Play Money, National Heroes, 1846-1917, Buffalo Bill. From Mazuma Gum Boxes by American Chiclet Co.
A much better than expected hunt before the rain rolls in for a week. [emoji20][emoji20][emoji20]
