A glorious day here in the PNW. Nearly 60 degrees at 9 am. Buellride (Paul) and I geared up and started off on some good looking strips. Not 15 minutes in, I got a nice 93-95 on the Manticore. Removed the plug, pushed some dirt around and there was a Walking Liberty half looking back at me. I waved Paul over to show him. One side of the coin was so dirty he couldn't tell what I was holding up. She was definitely dirty, and very worn, but cleaned up nicely anyway. This is the way to start the day. Paul moved on to another curbstrip across the street and about 10 minutes later he was waving at me. I went to him and there in the hole was a Benjy! We were both elated with the fantastic start and the shared success. We worked those curbstrips hard, without a lot of success in the way of silver, or even wheats, but the clad and Memorials were ever present. I got a permission at a 1905 house from a very nice couple. No coins but I did recover the El Dorado item in the picture. Shortly after that, down the way back on the curbstrip I got a quiet 92-93. Was hoping for a silver dime, but instead, I recovered the Eagle pendant. It's not hallmarked with 92.5 or Sterling, but does have some kind of marking that looks to say 314 or 814?? Nonetheless, pretty sure it is silver since it weighs just a bit more than a silver dime. Paul also found himself a GW in a curbstrip just a ways down from where I found the Eagle. We continued working a couple more blocks of curbstrips, and shortly before we ended our day I was able to finish out with a Rosie. A 3 silver day from an area we know has been worked pretty hard in the past is a great result. Can't wait to get back out again with Paul for another shot at some silver. Thanks for looking. GL&HH.

Thanks GT.
Thank you Casul.
Very nice digs :wow: Congrats!
Thanks GS. I think my favorite is the Eagle. It's pretty well executed.
1920-S. She's an old one for sure. Noice!
Appreciate your comment Geo. Not much left of her or she might have been worth a few dollars.

Thanks Mark. You're right - we seem to bring luck to each other. Two halves in 30 minutes is pretty incredible. I really value the shared experiences I've had with Paul. I think everyone would benefit from have a hunting buddy or two.
Good work.
Thanks for looking MD. No work yesterday, all pleasure.
Great job!
Thank you John.
