A nice day a nice hunt

I recently joined a metal detecting club. (Northern Maryland Dirt Diggers)
A bunch of cool guys! Very smart guys when it comes to metal detecting and iding finds. They invited me out for a hunt today. A known civil war camp. I was told it had been hit hard in the passed but we all found some good things. For myself I found a fired bullet, a dropped round ball and a 1816 large cent. It was my first time hunting with others. It was a beautiful day and I had fun!

Thanks everyone. I had a great weekend. Started out on Sunday with detecting with some great guys and some great finds. Than Monday I went fishing on the bay with a good friend for the day.

Congrats on a very nice outing along with the Largie. Also getting out with like minded company. I have always found that shared hunts are just more rewarding that those I am by myself. Still going alone will never be an excuse for not going. Trapper
