#54-62 and a major bucketlister

jl1252, I've just made an executive decision : We don't need "your type" over along the coast. We don't need anyone stealing our seateds over here. So.... just to be clear : You must stay from the central valley eastward. That gives you the central valley and the sierra foothills. But don't let us catch you anywhere in the Bay area, coastal valleys, etc....

After all, we wouldn't want there to be any "accidents". Understood ? :police:

How bout you "invite" me to some of your back pocket sites a couple times a year, and in exchange i will "promise" to stay in my AOR? Deal?

Oh my!!! Those are amazing finds. A seated half and a LC! Wow. Huge congrats. Must have been amazing. And two half's from the one field. Just amazing. Congrats, congrats, congrats.

Wow, the rare west coasted Large Cent. I've only heard of one of these being found in the Seattle area in the last 5 years. Probably a few more that I don't know of as much. Keep up the good work. Seems like the old geyser steered you right after all!

Thanks Mike, it has been a memorable few weeks for sure.

The LCs was a complete surprise and im stoked to have crossed it off my list!

Those are some awesome finds on this and your other posts. Did you ever find out through your research what was at this spot many years ago? Don't need to reveal it, just curious if you now know. Also, did you make it back this year and find more? Congrats!

Thanks, im having flashbacks...

There was a schoolhouse in the soccer field in the 1870s. I was also told it was "Chinatown" during the gold rush. I have been back many times and found only modern silver.

The gates at the baseball field where i found the LC have been locked shut since the pandemic started.
