I really struggled with learning this machine. This was from my 3rd and 4th hunt with this detector. A post I read on here made the lightbulb in my head go off . Fellow member said, turn down your volume gain. I set it at 20. I could finally run manual sensitivity above 20. I set it at 25 for these two hunts. The IHP range up 18-30 good tone. The dime came in at 1-30 to 1-36 one way tone only. It was straight up and down. Thank you for looking.

I agree the "E" took some getting used to, but when it finally clicked it was awesome. Now this is just my choice, but I run mine in almost silent threshold. By doing that my finds have gone up a lot. I can hear those soft nearly silent whispers much better. You did outstanding on what you found. Congrats on the IHP's and the CC seated.

Nice finds and cool seated. Higher sensitivity isn't always better for deep coins. I run mine around 18-20. Any higher you will get more noise and make it harder to here the deeper little squeakers. Just go really slow and you will pick deep targets.

Nice seated dime. 1877. Would have really scored if it was a 1877 Indian cent.

Thanks for the advice for my E-Trac. i appreciate it. i wish i could find 1877 IHP.

Well don't expect a solid penny signal. Most of the ones I have found come in just around the zincoln range. That's why when I'm in an old area I get a lot of zincolns. I dig them all.
I’m the same way, I’m fortunate that this park I hunt I rarely find and modern clad.
