1789 GW button?

I recently went out and found this about 10 inches deep, just curious if anyone can help confirm whether it is genuine or possibly a reproduction or centennial version of some sort, pretty new to this and this was actually my third time detecting ever.

I am from the champlain valley in VT! Alot of very cool revolutionary history here. This peice was actually found in the first city settled in vermont in 1788.
There is a lot of people that have been detecting for a long time and don’t have a GW. That is a impressive find. Congrats

This is just amazing to me. I was literally just out practicing at the local elementary school, this was maybe 6ft away from the playground. I'm hooked for life! Lol
 
I’m for sure not a expert. There others here that know better than I. I would think if it was some sort of remade modern button it would be in better shape.
