This site sounds awesome!!! fsdigital12 told me this spot is great!!! I am glad he had a first with the oldest he found and they were 2 2 centers. Plus all the stuff you are finding there! Seems this place wont stop producing for you guys!!! SO COOL!!!!!!!!
Yea this place continues to give goodies. I didn't have to go any farther then a 30ft circle to find every thing today actually. Working on a few videos now.

with the way you are working it now, how long will it take you to cover the whole property? I just found a 1800's home site yesterday and am hoping it will produce stuff like you guys are finding.
This property has 3 fields, a home foundation and remains of outbuildings and 3 patches of woods. I have only hunted one section of woods and not even half of the woods as the first few days I stayed towards the front of the wooded area and just wondered around. This spot will keep me busy through the summer honestly with all of the acreage. Although I doubt I will find as much as I have everywhere on the property lol. But for just a patch of woods that never had anything ever in it I am amazed at what I have found already. I am pulling an all day marathon hunt tomorrow. Even in the rain.

Just make sure you hunt every single inch of that place. The place I found has a small 10ft by 10 ft stone room and some other out buildings from what I can see. I think I can see the remains of the house in historic aerials. Also a few super old telephone polls through out the property, which tells me it was a larger farm. A couple of glass insulators but they are broken from the polls. I was there today and pretty much just stayed in the driveway area and found handful of nails. Lets see those videos!!!
I am trying to edit the videos to make one nice video but having issues. The first few days I just wondered around but I started to grid the area off and mark the holes where I found coins to see if there is a pattern or anything as well.

How did you go about getting written permission for the site? Did you know the owners?
No I did not know the owners. I was given a name by the local police district and I contacted them in person and requested permission and what my intentions were.. It was the easiest yes Ive ever received honestly and now I am free to roam anywhere and detect any piece of land I want there.

Oh yeah I remember fsdigital12 telling me that the cop was helping out with who to ask or something like that. Man O Man that has to be a great feeling being told to do whatever you want on the land. I use to go down to Pottstown to the reptile show a few times a year back when they use to have it there.

I go to the reptile show when its in Hamburg now and sometimes to Oaks when its there. The cop had an attitude and so did I but I was in the right the entire time. Either way its taken care of officially now.

Yeah I go to Hamburg also. What do you collect? I am a turtle and tortoise guy myself. I am just glad you kept your cool with the cop and now have free roam of the land.
That borough is known for being nothing but a pain to everyone and anyone. They always have a chip on their shoulder. If I didn't have company there I would have held my ground even more.
Lol I have 23 reptiles in total including bearded dragons, iguanas, turtles, snakes, etc.. A little of everything.

Yeah it is good to play it cool sometimes, especially when you have a sweet spot like you have there. I am doing some research right now on an amuesment park that was around in early 1900's , which is right down the road from my house. I know of a guy who has found hundreds of silvers out of there in the 80's. And I am sure there are plenty more to be found.
I had 32 turtles and tortoises at one time. But now my collection is on the small side, waiting to buy a house to start growing the collection back up. I had a few sulcatas that were around 50 lbs. Damnit I missed the show at Hamburg on saturday. SON OF A.......!!!!!

Yeah the park could hold some goodies. That would have to be a saturday or sunday outing. The old home site I mentioned earlier is right at the top of the mountain from the amuesment park. I would like to get a couple guys to try and hit up the amuesment park. fsdigital12 and a couple more.

The red tail is around 3ft-4ft total length. Haven't actually measured. Comes with 20g tank and stand plus extras. Still young with a great temperament honestly. Just running out of space. Also I won't have a larger tank open when he needs it and not too attached to this guy. He was a gift from my ex. Will trade for silver or coins honestly. Haha

HAHA, I didnt take it rudely. With a nice spot that you have, I would keep my butt there and find everything. Do you do a lot of door knocking?

Yes I do knock on a lot of doors.
Its actually closer to 3ft and its not too thick yet even though she does eat well. Like I said comes with a full set up as well.
