1 Gold ring, 3 Seated Dimes, 1 Seated Half Dime, 1 Barber dime, 51 IH's, 5 shielded nickels and two 2 Cent Coppers! UPDATE: 7/22/2012

I think I need to start knocking on doors in the few towns around me that are over 150 years old. Even to just ask to hunt the curb strip, bc there are still a lot of streets with sidewalks that are original, the old slate slabs.

Damn I really wish I had the room.
 
Everything but the small key and the full rifle round was also found at this site. The larger key is from Saturdays hunt and the rest from today.

It all worked out in the long run I guess. The neighbors I thought stole my Ace got evicted and I was allowed to clear out their apt with their landlord and ended up with a 47" Sony flat screen TV so in the long run I am not upset at them anymore haha.

Heading back out to the honey hole in a few minutes. Pouring down out but thats what I have the AT for lol
 
Holy Cow, what a wet day!!!! But well worth it. I wouldnt mind digging Indian Head after Indian Head, even in the rain. How much area did you cover today?

Not much at all. I went back over the same area I did yesterday.
 
I think throwing pennies at your friends 150 years ago was the cool thing to do.

Kind of like how he throw quarters at the sky now.
 
My truck broke down and I've had the worst luck with everything besides metal detecting. Go out at 1am to go to my spot and truck barely started. When it did it started sputtering and then I hear fluids just leaking out. Somehow just sitting out front the fuel line ruptured. Gas everywhere. Then to make matters worse the battery is dead this morning. I give uP on it. I'm walking down to my honey hole. I need to mellow out and calm down. Wonder how funny I look walking down the highway with all my gear? Haha. I don't really care.
 
Went out there for a little. Only finds we're one broken copper ring, musket ball, 2 buttons and one Indian head. Tried to hit some different areas but tomorrow I will go back to gridding the productive section. That makes 35 Indians I believe and 28 buttons so far.

Absolutely amazing hunts you have put together...Glad to see you are recovering some killer finds..
