If you were a D2 owner as many here are, and knowing that there is a much anticipated update coming very shortly, what would you do? Would you click on it?
I‘m posting this thread here because most people looking at this section are just normal, everyday people who are hobbyist hunters and they’re NOT “makin‘ that money” off of it. Guys who are monetizing their channel off of absolute dogsh*t clickbait like this really rub me the wrong way. You can go find it if you want to see it, it is pandering to the lowest common denominator, and that is that people, in general, tend to be trusting.
The laughable part about this fellows channel is that he doesn’t even appear to be an experienced detectorist. He sure botched the video in question, ain’t gonna compete with the Skill School anytime with that!
And no, I don’t want to hear the classic “don’t watch it if you don’t like it”. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about somebody who carves out their channel as being a “trusted source” and then hangs their hat on this TURD of a title. HE knows he’s deceiving people with it, it has 2.8k views. The fact he knows what he’s doing is what bothers me the most. Have some damn integrity for Christ’s sake!
