No, didn't watch any shows for over a month, . And Isn't my first show to watch either, I don't disagree with the opinions on here, at all, just look at what are economy is, and now another billions for the forgiveness programs

Using that standard, I've dug more treasure, left by my cat in his litter box, than has ever been recovered on Oak Island.

lol, or my favorite, they need to dig one more inch, but permit will not allow it.Easy ! Because there is a fabulous treasure *most certainly there*. It's just that it's a : "Little more to the right". Or "A little more to the left". Or "A little deeper" (and so forth to infinite regression). BUT AT NO POINT is there not a fabulous treasure.
I mean.... shucks..... it's kind of hard to argue with rusty nails, rotted wood, and a button. RIGHT ??

And also.......while our cats continue to add to the treasure we don't even have to contend with rusty nails or rotted wood.
But look at it this way if there were rusty nails and rotten wood in your litter box these would be clues to the real treasure lurking in there . sube

The next time I scoop the litter box, I'll dig a little deeper.
For us, it's a drinking game...
We pick a word or phrase like "Knights Templar" or "Bobby Dazzler" or an action like "let's call Rick!" before the episode and then when it comes up during the episode, take a drink! I've talked with Gary and I know he's the real deal detectorist but they make him look ridiculous for the sake of the show. Find one thing and that's it, let's go show Marty the rusty nail or piece of wood we just found... and give him his own "shovel monkey"??? I'd seriously like to have someone do the digging for me! And it's interesting to see Gary using the latest hottest detector from Minelab. I told my wife, when Gary went from the CTX3030 (the ideal detector for this kind of work) to the Equinox that I couldn't believe him stepping down and then when the Manticore came out between seasons, I told her you watch, next season Gary will be swinging the Manticore... and sure enough there was a Manticore in his hand. They should open up a time and invite a group of detectorists with various machines to come and detect (escorted by Oak Island Staff of course) to at least mark targets. You get some other company machines out there and you may find targets the Minelabs miss, and yes, I SWING A CTX, AN E-Trac and A 'Nox 800. All machines have strong points and weak points.
But let me quit ranting & just leave this here...

No mas, no mas! Is this season ever going to end? Now up to 25 hours of nothing and no end in sight. Watched the last half hour, hoping it would be the finale, but I guess not. They travel to Iceland and some guy points to a cross carved into the wall of a cave. Well, that must be connected to Oak Island! And they found a hair in concrete! Wow, that proves there's treasure! I really hate myself right now for wasting 30 minutes of my life on this garbage...

Okay, this must be the last episode! They found more alleged lead weights, so their erroneous conclusion is they must have been weighing gold in that spot! I found two real lead weights years ago in Foster, RI, so that means there's gold buried there! Can't wait to find it! Lol!

And here's what real lead weights look like. One is 1/2 of an ounce and the other is 1 ounce.

You know, come to think of it, I find lead weights (and varieties of lead slag) almost every time I go detecting. ESPECIALLY when beach detecting. Now I realize that it means a fabulous treasure was nearby. Golly. Who woulda thunk it ??

Crickets chirping here, so my guess is nothing worthwhile was found on the last episode.
Hopefully, this will be the last season. Ratings have been tanking every year, so I'm hoping last night's episode was the last one. As you can see, the ratings and interest in this show are going down year by year.
